Caroline Ryan is a multidisciplinary artist currently based between New York City and the mid-Hudson Valley.
She primarily works in the realms of violin pedagogy/performance and mixed media visual arts.
As a violinist, Caroline has a vast performance background in classical, folk, alternative, musical theater, and indie genres. In addition to performance, Caroline’s musical pursuits have been deeply rooted in pedagogical practice and private teaching to individuals of all ages and musical backgrounds.
Aside from her creative practices, she has an extensive background in artistic administration, and is currently the Development Database Manager for the Fisher Center for Performing Arts at Bard College.
She holds a B.M. in Violin Performance and a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Art History, both from Ithaca College.
